The people of Lighthouse Country, gaunt and starving, roar in protest: “You’re imprisoning us! You have no democracy! You’re crushing freedom!”

The people of Tianzhu Country eat sacred soil and drink holy cow water, shouting arrogantly: “We have more people blessed by the gods than anyone! China has shut itself away because it fears us and is hiding like a coward!”

The entire nation of the Sun Never Sets Country takes to the streets, chanting absurdly: “People have human rights, ghosts have ghost rights, and a ghost’s life is precious!”

Only the people of China, safe behind the wall, enjoy their air conditioning and peaceful lives, sincerely proclaiming:

“The Great Wall is wonderful! They absolutely had to build it!”

“Sealing the borders was exactly the right thing to do!”
