Taming Beast: a Contracted Beast Given by a Friend

I haven't finished Chapter 18 yet, so I want to keep it and read it slowly. What I've read so far is pretty good, and there's nothing toxic about it. The protagonist is not a fighting party. He currently has two beasts, a moth, a daughter (who plays with poison), an owl, and a son (who plays with spirits). They are all kept as pets. Of course, if they want to fight, they will be allowed to do so. The protagonist is a monster with a talent, and the talent is intuition. So far, it looks pretty good.

It's very interesting to watch, and the settings are very interesting. The protagonist gives me the feeling that the genius is on the left and the madman is on the right. He is standing on both sides.

It's good to read, but when you listen to a book, you'll pause for a second or two every time you listen to it. It's not something you're used to. I've tried other books and it doesn't have this problem.
