My Live-In Forensic Doctor Is So Flirtatious, the Ice-Cold CEO Can’t Sleep Night After Night

[Perfectionist, hopeless-at-everyday-life investment banking mogul gong × easygoing, versatile, scheming forensic pathologist shou] [Power couple, sweet bickering, cohabitation and crime-solving] A bizarre case involving an investment bank executive falling to his death brings together two titans from completely different worlds.

Lu Shiyan, the youngest partner at Ares Capital, is a perfectionist known as the “living King of Hell,” but he’s so hopeless at everyday life that even instant noodles can set off the fire alarm.

Shen Xingci, the forensic center’s genius “Shen Fox,” is a laid-back, lazy “speaker for the dead,” yet he can repair pipes with his bare hands and cook like a Michelin-starred chef.

At their first meeting, Lu complains that Shen’s office is a pigsty and that he’s in the way.

Shen laughs at Lu for being all dressed up in a suit but unable to lift a finger, calling him useless.

Who would have thought that a letter appointing Shen as a “financial consultant” would turn mortal enemies into partners? Worse, while his apartment is being renovated, Shen moves into Lu Shiyan’s minimalist mansion with his cat, Evidence!

Lu complains, “Can’t you stay farther away from me?” Yet in the middle of the night, he leaves a night-light on for Shen, who is afraid of the dark.

Shen teases him for being tsundere. “Is President Lu throwing another tantrum?” Yet when danger strikes, he doesn’t hesitate to put himself between Lu and harm.

From the fatal fall to a series of poisonings, from corporate fraud to locked-room murders, every clue points to a shadowy mastermind pulling the strings.

The king of finance lets his cool composure crack for him; the forensic genius risks his life for him. They are each other’s only weakness, and each other’s strongest armor.

Lu Shiyan thought he had merely taken in a fox who loved to bristle and tease.

He had no idea it was the only light capable of illuminating his dark world.
