As a Hokage player, I want to try writing a novel.
The victors earn the cheers, while the defeated lose everything. But worse than losing is being "rotated out of the meta." When a ninja's win rate falls below a certain threshold, their name is carved into the Memorial Stone, and they disappear from the arena forever. This is the shared fate of all ninjas. It's only a matter of time.
Jiraiya, one of the Legendary Sannin and an S-rank ninja, has the most complicated hand-seal mechanics in the entire game and an incredibly high theoretical ceiling. Yet he can't even control his own skills, earning him the mockery of being "the shame of S-rank." Naruto Uzumaki: Kurama Link, once a glorious T1 powerhouse, has been nerfed three times in a row and now has only five seconds of glory left. Kakashi Hatake: Susanoo, the latest S-rank form, has complicated mechanics and an incredibly high ceiling, but its margin for error is infuriatingly small. His win rate is sliding inexorably toward the abyss of being rotated out of the meta.
They are the arena's "washed-up team." Nobody believes in them. Nobody cares about them. Against the overwhelming strength of meta T0 characters like Akatsuki Itachi, Reanimated Hashirama, and Eternal Sasuke, and facing the ridicule and scorn of the other ninjas, they can do only one thing: stand in the arena again and again, fighting battles they are destined to lose.
This is not a story about a comeback. There is no sudden awakening of hidden power, no miraculous buff from the meta. There are only three people desperately clinging to the last shred of their dignity amid the relentless tide of changing versions.
They will eventually fall. But when they fall in the arena, everyone will remember one thing:
They were here.
