Blind Prostitute

This is a sad work that tears apart the dark curtain of "raising thin horses" in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. A seven-year-old girl named Axiang was sold to Anxiang Mansion after being kept as a emaciated horse by her grandmother. She became a blind prostitute and was ravaged. However, she never bowed to fate, and accumulated strength in the dark brothel. Finally, she broke out of her cocoon and was reborn, setting up her own private school to help orphans. The novel uses Axiang's suffering and struggle as a clue to present on paper the history of blood and tears of lower-class women in the deformed society of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, profoundly revealing the cannibalistic nature of the old society that devoured human nature.
