Harry Potter: Deep Pool

[Original heroine]

(Tom in the early chapters, Newt later on)

Venus Dumbledore.

She was definitely not a benevolent goddess.

Cold and arrogant, she disliked Muggles, even looking down on them.

She always thought she was superior to everyone else. Then she met a kindred spirit who shared her “rotten” nature: Tom Riddle.

The deep waters of the lake nourished the abyss, where dark and evil forces intertwined.

No one could help anticipating the sparks that would fly between them.

Besides, wherever they went, the gods were always favored.

But was the goddess of beauty, Venus, really what she seemed?

Or was there more to her story? How would she redeem herself and escape the abyss?

What warm and wise light would descend upon her, taking pity on her?
