The Heavenly Emperor's youngest daughter, the third princess of the Celestial Realm, was sent to the mortal world to undergo ten lifetimes of trials as punishment for breaking a glazed cup.
Her mortal identity: the three-year-old eldest legitimate granddaughter of the Duke of Zhenguo. Born frail, she is nevertheless breathtakingly beautiful.
Though she has lost her divine powers, she retains a faint sense of good fortune, giving her an instinctive awareness of blessings and disasters. At crucial moments, she offers warnings in the innocent, unfiltered words of a child.
Innocent and lively but no naive pushover, she sometimes lets slip “immortal sayings” that leave everyone baffled.
Each time she helps her family avert a disaster, she earns merit toward completing her trials. Once her merit is complete, she can return to the Celestial Realm. Her family, in turn, receives a boost in fortune for protecting her.
