The Eastern "Nine Provinces Cultivation Realm" and the Western "Arcane Divine Domain" overlapped after a planar collapse a thousand years ago.
Cultivators regard mages as "heretics who toy with the elements," while mages see cultivators as "savages who attain sainthood through the flesh." The two sides have been locked in a standoff for years along the borderlands known as the "Chaos Frontier."
The young male and female protagonists are separated across the two lands by circumstances, and must transmigrate through countless dangers to find each other.
