Siheyuan: From the Start, I Made the Whole Courtyard’s Biggest Fool?!

Wang Dafu was famous as the kindest man in Sophora Lane. He once cleared the entire courtyard's drains while burning with a high fever, and not one person came out to check on him. Silly Dafu just smiled and said it was the least he could do. When a neighbor took over half his room, Silly Dafu moved out of the main room and into the storage shed, with the stove shoved against the wall. His wife ran off with another man. Silly Dafu stuffed all their eggs into her hands and chased the car for three whole streets. She never looked back. When his son was treated like a horse for others to ride, Wang Dafu taught him that suffering a loss was a blessing. Later, a neighbor tricked his son into working in an illegal coal mine. A high fever left the boy brain-damaged, with the mind of a ten-year-old. It's all right, son. Suffering a loss is a blessing. That's why you're called Silly Dafu. A story of pure misery. Wang Dafu really is a fool blessed with bad luck.
