Only a Fool Would Believe You Died That Night

That night, Gu Jin was presumed dead, with no remains left behind in the sea of flames. The whole city mourned, but Li Xiao refused to believe it. Three years later, a scarred ghost appears without warning and identifies the real culprit behind the murder: none other than Li Xiao's trusted aide. The police are in pursuit, enemies close in, and Gu Jin holds evidence powerful enough to turn the entire city upside down. Li Xiao neither lets him go nor tries to arrest him. What he wants is the truth. As the files on the old case are reopened, every page is stained with blood, and every testimony conceals a lie. Gu Jin is dead, yet clearer-eyed than the living; Li Xiao is alive, yet more unhinged than the dead. They are not partners, but each other's blade, striking into the abyss to tear open the truth of that night.
