This book takes the Central Plains Dynasty as the orthodox one, and provides a relatively comprehensive record of the political, military, economic, cultural and other aspects of each dynasty. It describes in detail the social reality of frequent regime changes and constant wars during the Five Dynasties period. It provides a rich historical material basis for studying the special historical period of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, and helps us understand the political structure and social development context of the time.
