What Lu Yan delivers isn't parcels, but rules. Signing for a delivery makes them take effect; breaking them means mutation. The rules say to deliver only and never help, but he added half a sentence, and the System added another parcel: the recipient was himself. The last line in Old Zhou's notebook read, "The last delivery is your own." He thought it was a warning. Only later did he learn it was a final message.
The key difference: the protagonist isn't a survivor trapped by the rules. He's the one who delivers them. He's neither inside the rules nor outside them, and that in-between position comes with a built-in moral dilemma: he can see how others will die, but he can't save them. The more he helps, the more dangerous things become. In the end, he himself is the last delivery.
