It starts with a strong conflict between the heroine Su Wan and the hero Gu Yan, who "marry first, love then divorce". In order to investigate her mother's old case, Su Wan (Yu Jie, Poisonous Tongue) uses marriage as a bargaining chip to get close to Gu Yan, a suspected enemy (the sun hides humiliation and scheming). After marriage, she showed her "venomous tongue" and made things difficult in every possible way, but she was also quietly attracted by Gu Yan's "sunshine and warm-blooded" thoughtfulness. Three years later, her goal was "achieved" and she decisively divorced. On the day of the divorce, Gu Yan's true identity (a financial tycoon and an avenger) was exposed. He returned to the business world, and his thunderous methods shocked the industry. In shock and anger, Su Wan discovered that she had already been unknowingly attracted to her true feelings (love brain). The two are caught in the tug-of-war of "reviving an old relationship." Su Wan has to face his out-of-control emotions while also clarifying the truth about his mother's case. Gu Yan's path to revenge is complicated by Su Wan's existence. Behind his "deep scheming" and "endurance to bear the burden of humiliation" is his affectionate protection of Su Wan for several years, without even her noticing it. In the end, the two team up to uncover the conspiracy of the villain (a resourceful avenger who has an old grudge against Gu Yan), and complete two-way redemption in the whirlpool of business war, emotion and family grudges.
