While everyone else struggles to survive, Chen Ming studies the law. He is a practicing lawyer from the real world. When the game of national destiny begins, he realizes something no one else has: even the rules of a rules-based horror game have to obey the law.
Always by his side are Hao Ren, a goofy assistant who carries a pair of nunchucks and offers “physical defense” by hitting himself, and Yin Li, a dangerous woman who is both his enemy and his ally, and who keeps drifting closer to him despite herself.
