The Heavenly Dao Is an Overworked Salaryman

Zhu Wang, an overworked employee who died at her desk, woke up to discover that she had become the Heavenly Dao.

Twelve primary planes had to be created by hand, thirty-six secondary planes had to be configured one by one, and the foundations for 108 affiliated spaces hadn't even been laid. The previous Heavenly Dao had worked until their Dao heart collapsed and they perished, without leaving so much as a handover document. She spent three years building the framework, and only after officially beginning her inspections did she discover that creating the world was the easiest part. The real headache was that her code had grown into something she had never written.

In the Ancient Script plane, she watched mortals struggle as their dynasty neared its end, and watched someone fight desperately to prop up a collapsing empire. She thought that was the biggest problem she could face, until an even more cruel truth came to light: Was she really herself?
