A Record of Lost Treasures in the Dust

A cripple with shattered spiritual roots accidentally awakens an ancient art forgotten by countless worlds: the ability to reclaim powers buried by time from the remains of all things. Others cultivate immortality with spiritual roots. He does it by picking up bones. From a mine slave's bones, he finds a long-lost hammer technique. From the wreck of an ancient warship, he finds a mark that can never sink. From a heavenly dog's corpse, he finds a darkness that devours all things. Others seek to ascend and become immortals. He only wants to earn enough merit to return to the riverbank in his hometown and eat another bowl of beans peeled by that person.

My name is Ji Chen, Chen as in dust. A scavenger, a gravekeeper, a man who refuses to forget.
