A group of people who should already be dead awaken in an underground station with no exits. They must board numbered trains to enter different instances and complete rule-based tasks issued by "Echo." Every failure makes someone truly disappear, while each successful run restores a fragment of erased memory. The protagonist gradually discovers that these supposedly endless instances are not a punishment, but a trial deliberately created by someone.
