[Apocalyptic growth + strongest female lead, no official couple but one-sided crushes + satisfying revenge + transmigrate into a book + revenge + women supporting women + ensemble cast]
Jiang Linghe transmigrates into a book and gets the worst possible start: her mother and older sister join forces to kill her and turn her into a medicinal ingredient to cure her sister’s illness.
Jiang Linghe remembers that the original owner worked for over a decade to support them. She’s done playing along, so she leaves first and focuses on growing stronger.
Relying on the few things she remembers from reading the book, she finds opportunities and grows stronger step by step.
In the apocalypse, she strikes back against those who tried to kill her and gains the spiritual ability “Wang Nian Yu Lan.”
She grows steadily, becoming more and more powerful.
Jiang Linghe gradually takes on many identities. The bloodthirsty villain from the legends on the forums is her, and so is the all-evil, mysterious god.
Meanwhile, a group of formidable people gathers around her:
The supreme administrator, who is her suitor;
Her strong, kind, and capable older sister;
Her senior apprentice sister, who loves consulting the I Ching about everything;
Her enigmatic second senior apprentice brother, Chu Qian;
And her third senior apprentice brother, Tian Dong, whose tragic past ultimately leads him to enlightenment.
Later, she discovers that everyone around her comes from an extraordinary background.
This story focuses on the heroine’s growth. She stays level-headed throughout and is highly intelligent.
This book is a companion to my previous novel, “Reborn in the Apocalypse, the White-Eyed Wolf Regrets It, So What?” The setting of “White-Eyed Wolf” includes ten planets, though only eight were covered. This book takes place on the ninth and tenth planets.
Characters from “White-Eyed Wolf” will make guest appearances and help move the plot along. It’s fine if you haven’t read “White-Eyed Wolf,” as it won’t affect your enjoyment. I plan to write a chapter for “Ling Shuang” in this book. I’d originally planned to write an extra chapter for “White-Eyed Wolf,” but realized I wasn’t eligible to do that after finishing it, so this will serve as a bonus instead~
Good-looking, the heroine is kind, but also vindictive, smart, not a virgin, the girls help each other, the characters are three-dimensional, and there are many twists and turns
