Help! The Brooding Villain's White Moonlight O Is Reborn

I was the doomed-to-die white moonlight in a transmigration-into-a-book story.

I spent two years chasing after a scumbag Alpha, driving myself into the ICU. Only on the verge of death did I learn the truth:

I wasn't lovesick at all. My gland was diseased, and I needed his pheromones to stay alive.

And he had only ever given me enough to keep me barely alive.

When I woke up reborn, a line of scrolling comments drifted across my eyes:

[Stop chasing him. Your real cure is your childhood friend! He's 3S-rank, smells like cedar, and has had a crush on you for ten years!]

I turned to look at my childhood friend, who was still giving me the cold shoulder.

He said icily, "If you die, I won't come collect your body."

The comments flooded the screen: [He's lying. In your last life, he clung to your body and wouldn't let go after you died.]

I went straight into his arms. "Give me your pheromones."

He froze. "Do you know what you're saying?"

The comments: [He knows! Just give them to him!]

Later, the scumbag Alpha asked me with red-rimmed eyes, "Why did you choose him instead of me?"

My childhood friend answered for me: "Get lost! Don't make me slap you when I'm having the happiest moment of my life."
