The Heavenly Flame Pill Emperor

This continent is called the Yanwu Continent. There is no flashy magic, only one ironclad rule: the fire within determines your strength, and alchemy determines your status.

Everyone is born with a “lifebound flame” dormant within them. Its ranks, from lowest to highest, are mortal flame, spirit flame, earth flame, heavenly flame, divine flame, and the legendary sacred flame. Only those who awaken their flame can become Qi Refiners or Alchemists and embark on the path of cultivation.

Our protagonist, Lin Jin, comes from a fallen family of alchemists in a small city on the continent's frontier. Once a genius admired by all, he awakened an earth-grade flame at the age of fifteen and became famous throughout the region. But overnight, his flame mysteriously fell dormant and his cultivation was completely crippled. He fell from the heights into the mud, enduring scorn and mockery from everyone around him.

Worse still, after he fell on hard times, his childhood sweetheart's family quickly broke off their engagement, then seized his most precious ancestral alchemy cauldron to present as a gift to the city lord.

The story begins three years later, on a night everyone has forgotten.
