Young Master He Picks Up a Little Beggar and Raises Her to Be His Wife

[Male-Male Romance] [1v1] [Both Leads’ First and Only] [Fantasy Elements] [Sweet Romance] [Domineering, Hypocritical Troublemaker Top x Cute, Scheming Lotus Root Bottom]

Young Master He went out to collect protection money. In a moment of poor judgment, he picked up a little beggar and brought him home. He had meant to kindly help the boy get back to his family, but the little beggar ended up clinging to his home and refusing to leave.

Young Master He claimed he couldn’t stand the silly boy, but he was always helping the clueless little beggar, indulging him and taking care of him at every turn. Before he knew it, he was taking care of him in bed...

Little Beggar: I thought you said you’d never get married or have a wife!

Young Master He: Who said that?! Who’s slandering me?! Heavens above, tell right from wrong!

Little Beggar: From now on, I’m going to keep a record of every ridiculous thing you say!

The bottom is a lotus root spirit. Before he could take human form, someone picked him. He fell into a little alley, transformed, and was taken in and brought home by the top.

The top’s parents don’t care what he does, so he lives in the countryside with his grandfather. One day, while collecting protection money, he comes across the little beggar bottom (he’s referred to as Little Beggar for the first dozen or so chapters). On impulse, he takes him straight home, and from then on, Young Master He has a little shadow trailing behind him.
