[Two Male Leads] [ABO] [Sweet Romance] [Modern] [Secret Crush] [Kept Relationship] [Bittersweet] [Healing]
[Cold, gloomy Alpha top: Jiang Xizhao + Calm, gentle Beta bottom: Xu Yuchen]
Why does your pheromone smell bitter?
How can a Beta have pheromones?
After Xu Yuchen's birth mother was abducted and gave birth to him, she was rescued and taken away. His father died from alcoholism, leaving him to live alone from the age of eight. He met a wandering master by chance, who took him to live in S City. Years later, his birth mother, stepfather, and younger brother found him. On the way back, they got into a car accident. Their relatives seized the family estate, and his younger brother suffered severe damage to his glands and fell into a coma. The police ruled Xu Yuchen his sole guardian.
One day, Jiang Xizhao, the boss of Jingyong Group, suddenly went into rut. It was a secret that Jiang Xizhao's ruts were uncontrollable. He never expected that this Beta, who had no pheromones, could soothe him, too. So he offered to keep Xu Yuchen for two years for five million, paying him 200,000 a month.
Xu Yuchen agreed to pay his brother's medical bills. Who could have guessed that this man was actually the boss of his company!
Once Jiang Xizhao's manic episodes during his rut were under control, he ended their contract.
But when he smelled another Alpha's pheromones on Xu Yuchen, he couldn't accept it, and began his journey to win him back.
