[Unconventional Native Insectoid World + Top's POV + Younger Love Interest + Mutual Acting + Opposed Identities + Intense Push and Pull + Female Disguised as Male, Male Disguised as Female + Insect Hatchlings]
A younger, seemingly innocent but actually scheming, drama-loving male insect VS a high-ranking, powerful grand duke who's delicate and prone to tears.
Twelve years ago, a deal between his family and the imperial family set Aranan's life on a fixed path: "win over the enemy nation's grand duke." As a male insect, he should have enjoyed respect and adoration, but because of that deal, he was forced to disguise himself as a female and sold at a female slave auction. Only after becoming the duke's female attendant did he discover that the supposedly "stern and ruthless" duke had a completely different side beneath his mask. His heterochromatic eyes, hidden behind lace, rippled at the sound of Aranan calling him "male consort." His waist trembled uncontrollably at a touch, and even his pheromones were so tempting that Aranan, himself a male insect, couldn't resist them...
The seduction mission gradually went off course. Aranan no longer wanted the enemy nation's weapons. He only wanted to see the duke's eyes beneath the lace, watch tears fall when he lost control, and hear the lingering note in his voice when he softly whispered "stop" beside Aranan's ear. But the pressure from both the imperial family and his own family hung over him like a blade, and in the end he completed his mission. Amid the artillery fire of the two nations at war, Aranan infiltrated the duke's starship. When his fingertips touched that familiar waist, and the lost insect's pheromones, sweet as honey, filled his nostrils, his pupils suddenly contracted. A slight curve had risen across the duke's lower abdomen...
This is bad! His "male consort" had gotten pregnant!
(Most of the story is told from the top's perspective. The protagonist's narration uses different terms for the other character depending on what he believes the other character's identity to be at the time. Both are virgins, and neither is a good insect.)
