I Found a Fortune at the Scrap Yard

After a car accident, Ren Daoyuan’s eyes undergo a strange transformation, allowing him to see the hidden “time value” of all things. He takes over a recycling center on the verge of bankruptcy, only to embark on an unbelievable journey of finding hidden treasures. While others spend fortunes at antique shops, he can spot a treasure in a mountain of junk at a glance. He finds a Warring States jade disc among scrap metal sold by the pound, digs a Yuan dynasty blue-and-white vase out from under an old toilet in a building due for demolition, and shakes a genuine Tang Bohu painting out of a homeless man’s ragged quilt... While the entire antiques world laughs at “a junk dealer hoping to find a national treasure,” Ren Daoyuan has already quietly built a private museum.
