They are not out to catch criminals. The things they caught were called "mountains and seas".
There are two moons hanging in the sky over South Seoul, one normal and one dark red, with cracks on the surface. Sometimes the brick walls of this city are blue bricks and gray tiles from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and sometimes they suddenly turn into unknown dark red stones - underneath those stones lies an alien city that was sealed a thousand years ago.
Chang Yuesheng is the military operations captain. He led a team into South Seoul to search for two "mountains and seas": an eight-year-old girl who can rebound all damage, and a man who can randomly take lives from the crowd. But this is no ordinary manhunt. Someone wanted to drive him crazy. Because his reason is the anchor point of the seal of the underground magic city.
He can't be crazy. Even if his hands are stained with the blood of his teammates, even if the murders of three generations are weighing on him, even if he finds out that he has been chosen a long time ago - chosen by a thousand-mile-long red dragon, an ancient god who opens his eyes for day and closes his eyes for night.
Deeper truths opened before him one after another: the world had been distorted from the beginning. The balance of yin and yang between gods and evil spirits is collapsing. The guarding gods died one by one, or were imprisoned by the humans they protected to take their flesh until they turned into bones. And the cracks behind the door that shouldn't appear are slowly opening.
This is a crime-stained arrest team. Every mountain and sea they catch leads to a bigger answer. But when they finally stood in front of the answer, what they saw was a god carrying the world that was about to collapse, and said to them: Come on, ants, give it a try.
