During the Chunyou reign of Emperor Lizong of the Southern Song Dynasty, there was a shop without a signboard at the entrance of the east alley of Lin'an Ghost Market. There is only one pottery lamp in the shop, and the lamp is never extinguished.
The owners of the shop were two extraditers. One is a gluttonous and funny peach tree spirit in pink and white clothes, named Taoyao. One is a lamp spirit who holds a lantern silently, has a sharp tongue and is cold, named Chang Ming. No one knows when they appeared in the ghost market. They only know that "Grandpa's grandfather's generation, this light was there."
