Autumn 1941, occupied Shanghai. Chen Shu, who appears to be running a tailor shop, turns out to be an underground intelligence agent of the Chinese Communist Party. His mission is to lurk, collect Japanese military intelligence, and pass it to the organization through a transmitter hidden under a sewing machine. Tonight, an unusual guest brought a roll of cheongsam material that needed "urgent" modification. Hidden in the pattern of the fabric was a set of encrypted coordinates related to hundreds of lives and deaths.
