Miss Qiqi Is a Thief

Synopsis

Family intrigue + a growing-up romance + true and false legitimate daughters + land reclamation and stockpiling grain

In her previous life, Mu Qiqi was a female thief forced into becoming a top salesperson by mobile payments. At the annual company party, her dark past was exposed, and she died of embarrassment on the spot!

After death, she wakes up in the body of the Marquis’s legitimate daughter, a girl who was switched at birth. The only person by her side is her five-and-a-half-year-old young husband, who protects her like a loyal dog. Everyone else is either a wolf or a tiger.

.

Her stepfather and his concubine want to devour her inheritance, while her young husband’s grandmother and aunt in the countryside want a share of the spoils. With no one to rely on, Mu Qiqi gets an idea. She and her young husband bring the wolves from his family into the Marquis’s residence, turning them into the sharpest blades in her hands.

.

What, drive out a tiger through the front gate only to welcome a wolf at the back?

Mu Qiqi says that’s not happening. With a boomerang in hand, she’ll sit back and watch the tigers and wolves fight. Whoever wins gets hit by the boomerang. Who else could be the last one standing but her?

.

After driving off the wolves and tigers, Mu Qiqi and her young husband turn to the business of making a living and build a thriving enterprise together. Just as she’s about to lie flat and enjoy the good life, the situation in the capital suddenly changes. Mu Qiqi takes her young husband and hurries through the night to the place of exile to search for their family.

.

Her young husband may be small, but he has big ambitions: “Duobao wants to be a great marshal! If Heaven is unfair, then we’ll find a different Heaven!”

Mu Qiqi smiles. “Good boy. Then we’ll reclaim land, stockpile grain, train our troops, and I’ll steal you an empire!”

Duobao: “Then I’ll offer you the realm as my bride price!”

Mu Qiqi: “It’s a deal!”
