When Everyone's Least Favorite Got a Bratty Role and Became a Hit on a Dating Show

Lin Zhixia wakes up inside a melodramatic dating reality show novel as the universally mocked “diva” foil. The original Lin Zhixia is spoiled, difficult, and brainless, a stumbling block on the romance between the male lead and his love interest, and destined for a tragic ending.

The System gives her this mission: “Keep up your persona, play the cannon fodder, and follow the plot to the end.”

Lin Zhixia looks at the three-digit balance left in her bank account and the prospect of being blacklisted across the internet, and decisively tears up the script.

So what if she’s a diva? A diva should know how to act like one!

And so...

While everyone else cooks, she orders takeout, explaining, “Cooking fumes are bad for your skin.”

While everyone else goes on dates, she takes a nap, explaining, “Beauty sleep matters more than men.”

When the guests are moved to tears, she yawns and says, “I’m sleepy. Can we wrap this up?”

The whole internet rages: “Is this woman crazy?”

Until one day, the cameras catch the aloof, abstinent movie emperor Gu Chenzhou cornering Lin Zhixia against a wall, his voice low and husky: “Didn’t you say you were sleepy? I’ll carry you to bed.”
