Reborn in a Famine Year: Hunting in the Mountains, Many Wives and Blessings, a Granary Full of Meat

"Hunting in the mountains + famine era + multiple women + crazy face-slapping + decisive and ruthless" Zhou Yi is reborn in the 1960s and starts on hell difficulty: his furious sister-in-law has tied him up and sharpened a kitchen knife to cripple him and put an end to his gambling! He remembers how, in his previous life, his gambling addiction led him to wager away his wife. She decided to hang herself, and his sister-in-law also died under mysterious circumstances. To keep the tragedies of his previous life from happening again, he writes a pledge promising to give his wife and sister-in-law a good life. He also successfully activates the System: the better he treats his wife and sister-in-law, the richer the rewards. Just then, debt-collecting thugs burst in to take his wife as payment! Zhou Yi shows off his strength and beats a gang of bullies to a pulp. He then heads into the mountains to hunt wild boars and forage for mountain delicacies, stockpiling flour, grain, and cooking oil. He face-slaps every villager who looked down on him or mocked him, gets rich along the way, and dotes on his wife and protects his sister-in-law every day, enjoying a life of meat at every meal in the famine years!
