Hounded Online as a Fraud? The Top-Tier Star Begs Me to Exorcise a Ghost

[The internet's most hated phony medium, the bottom × a sharp-tongued top-tier star singer, the top, supernatural showbiz, live-stream face-slapping, two powerful leads with simmering chemistry, both each other's first and only, no secret crushes or exes] Three years ago, Shen Jinyue was the most talked-about “phony medium” guest on a supernatural variety show. Three years ago, he shoved rising starlet Lin Xuetang to the ground and was condemned across the internet as a lunatic and a fraud. He left the entertainment industry and vanished. Three years later, he signed up for the hit livestream variety show Hot Search Judgment. The whole internet was waiting to see him apologize, while the production crew was ready to throw him to the wolves. But as soon as the livestream began, the late movie star Fu Linchuan, dead for ten years, posted a message in the comments: [Shen Jinyue, don't let Fu Linxi sing “For Linchuan.”] Fu Linxi was a top-tier singer-songwriter: cool-faced and sharp-tongued, a god onstage, but mocked for his acting. His hit lament “River Ever Flowing” had taken the internet by storm, and everyone said he had ridden his late brother's coattails to fame. Only Shen Jinyue could see the black thread of death wrapped around his throat. The production crew forced Fu Linxi into livestream room three to sing an unreleased demo a cappella. A ghost whispered in his ear, tempting him: “Sing it, and your brother can come back.” Fu Linxi was so terrified he broke down, unleashing a dolphin-like shriek that sent the ghost flying. The whole internet: ??? Shen Jinyue smiled. “Teacher Fu, you're pretty good at your job.” Fu Linxi replied coldly, “That's a physiological reaction.” In the ghost realm, Fu Linxi asked quietly, “Shen Jinyue, are you still there?” Shen Jinyue's hands were covered in blood from the backlash, but he smiled as he answered, “I'm here. Look at me. Don't turn around.”
