Detective Conan: In Beika, I Drive Every Villain to the Breaking Point

After transmigrating to Beika Town and becoming a student at Teitan High School, Ling Cheng binds himself to a System that solves cases through spontaneous antics. He relies on neither meticulous deduction nor careful planning. Just wandering around, eating sweets, and lazing about is enough to accidentally wreck every criminal scheme. The original villain group, Shadow Syndicate, meticulously plots its pranks. Its leader, Leng Jin, and members Su Ye and Han Hu devise one careful plan after another, only for Ling Cheng to ruin them all with careless blunders. They repeatedly lose heart, botch their schemes, and flee.

Conan tails him every day, lying in wait for clues, but his careful deductions keep coming to nothing, leaving him questioning himself. Kogoro takes credit until his hands are full, while Sonoko and Ran are always around Ling Cheng, amazed by him. From repeatedly driving off villains to turning every member of the Shadow Syndicate away from crime and into honest work, Ling Cheng sends Beika's public safety soaring. This is a lighthearted comedy with no gore and endless laughs. Watch a laid-back protagonist use absurd luck to drive a whole gang of villains into reforming.
