It's a complex strategy novel with internal fighting in the palace + imperial examination + farming. The protagonist Shen Yu is an eunuch who was castrated because of his father's rebellion and sent to the Huangzhuang Granary to be a eunuch. In the granary on the ground floor, he learned how to identify old grain and new grain, how to keep accurate accounts, and how to use grain and ironware to allocate materials.
