My neck hurts.
This is the first feeling after regaining consciousness, the feeling of being squeezed tightly by Bai Ling, the bones rattling, and the breath being deprived inch by inch, it is like it grows from the bones and cannot be shaken off.
The second feeling is cold.
The biting cold penetrated from the back, like lying in an ice cellar.
I opened my eyes suddenly and saw a shabby bed tent covered with dark yellow stains and spider webs hanging from the corners. There was a musty smell in the air, mixed with the smell of damp earth, which was so disgusting that it made you want to vomit.
What is this place?
I propped myself up and sat up, pressing my hands on the hard bed board, I felt a rough touch in my palms - this was not a bed at all, just a few broken boards put together, not even a mattress.
It was pitch dark all around, with only the moonlight coming from the window barely illuminating the outline of the room. Broken tables, broken chairs, half-broken vases, and cobwebs on the walls. This scene was so unfamiliar that it made me stunned, but it also had an eerie sense of familiarity that made me feel uncomfortable.
