A Walking 500,000 Yuan: How a Delivery Rider Became a State Security Agent

His name is Lin Yi, and he’s a walking 500,000 yuan bounty. Not because his life is worth that much, but because every spy he catches is worth that much. Other people deliver takeout; he delivers spies. A master’s graduate from a top university, he makes money by touching things. One touch of a doorknob tells him someone inside is stealing people; one touch of a takeout box tells him it’s carrying intelligence. When State Security asks him to work as an informant, he says, “Pay me more.” A deliveryman takes spy cases as courier jobs, only to stumble into his own father’s old case.
