Aola: The Pet Appraiser Is Actually a Top Trainer

Also known as: I Just Wanted to Raise Six Pets, So How Did I Become Champion?

Why is this useless System such a trap? Why has it left me flat broke, too?

Donghuang League, Binbei University of Battle, Animal Care Department.

Chen Daochu’s life goal is painfully simple: graduate without a hitch, raise six easygoing Pokemon, and live a quiet life.

But life is unpredictable, and so is a System. Here comes the darkest hour: a livestreaming System!

This System is “invincible” in all the wrong ways: I, the invincible one, have nothing more to say! Other people’s Systems take them to the moon, but mine drags me straight into trouble.

To survive, Chen Daochu has to start livestreaming and make a living with his “feeding skills” in this world where the settings of Pokemon and Aola Star have merged.

He has only three days’ rent left, his wallet is cleaner than his face, and there’s a picky, arrogant bunny boy at home, disdainful of their rented apartment and waiting to be fed.

What’s he supposed to do? Where there’s a will, there’s a way! From the arrogant bunny boy who refuses to evolve to Mega Huangji Rabbit, from a genetically mutated Haunter to a combo-based Super Haunter of the Electric Ghost-type…

With this bunch of “oddball” Pokemon and his all-rounder group of roommates, Chen Daochu makes ends meet by working the livestream numbers, while casually smashing the forces of darkness to smithereens.

This is Chen Daochu, an “underdog genius” from the Animal Care Department who only wanted to raise six pets. But because he’s so good at “feeding,” the tide of the times sweeps him all the way to the champion’s throne.

One heroine: Sabrina. Livestreaming + Academy + Travel + Donghuang (China) + Pokemon World + Aola Star pets
