[Mutated Traits] [Demon-Suppressing Bureau] [Level Up by Slaying Demons] [Decisive and Ruthless] [No Female Lead]
Lu Yuan is a corpse-cleaning menial in the Demon-Suppressing Bureau. After three years of body tempering, he hasn’t made any progress.
Everyone says he’s the most useless good-for-nothing in the Northern Commandery. They give him all the dirty work and deadly missions, but never let him claim any credit.
Then, on a deadly mission to wipe out a demon nest, Lu Yuan beheads a monster with his own hands.
He awakens a trait system!
Slay an Ironclad Demon, and [Rusty Iron] becomes [Fine Iron].
Slay a Wind Wolf, and [Sluggish] gives rise to [Swift].
Slay a Blood Qi Demon, and [Sickly] fills out his constitution.
Others risk their lives to slay demons. Lu Yuan slays demons to reshape his own fate.
From corpse-cleaning menial to auxiliary demon slayer, then to mounted constable in the Demon-Suppressing Bureau.
Those who sent him off to die soon discover one thing:
The deadly missions they handed him are honing Lu Yuan, one strike at a time, into the sharpest blade of all.
Okay but a bit slow
Not bad, very satisfied
