System + otherworldly girlfriend + supernatural horror + lighthearted daily life
Bai Ci is a high school senior. He’s been able to see ghosts since his first year, and after two years under the shadow of the supernatural, he’s long forgotten what a normal life feels like.
Just as those things lose patience and decide to devour him for good, he unexpectedly binds to a System and meets Shen Bing, a saber cultivator from the Demon-Slaying Bureau in another world.
The girl is peerless in battle, but she loves food and clings to him. Just then, evil spirits emerge across the globe, and red-clad calamities sweep through the city.
Bai Ci awakens a lightning spirit root and keeps completing the System’s eerie, terrifying main quests, catching ghosts around the city with his otherworldly girlfriend while eating ice cream.
As he helps the heroine adapt to modern society, countless horrifying and sinister missions, along with repeated battles against vengeful ghosts, are interspersed with the romance and sweetness of everyday life.
