Prince of Tennis: The Bystander Can't See Clearly

<Hane BG + Childhood Sweethearts + Youthful School Life>

Childhood sweethearts, side by side through the years.

Tomita Momoka and Hane Chotaro have spent more than a decade together, and their lives are filled with traces of each other.

His constant presence feels natural, and their growing closeness seems inevitable. She has long since become unable to live without this sense of security.

But the line between a fluttering heart and simple familiarity is so blurred that she can never figure out what she really feels for him.

Momoka: “Then we can date, but without giving it a name. Would you be willing?”

Chotaro looked at her. “What does it mean to have no name for it?”

Momoka thought for a long time. “It means we aren’t lovers, but we do the things lovers do.”

Chotaro asked, “What are the things lovers do?”

Momoka didn’t answer, but Chotaro had already taken her hand. Then he said,

“Okay. Let’s have a nameless romance.”

(A few things to know: 1. This is a parallel story to several other works, and will mention some of their couples. 2. Friendship gets a lot of attention, even more than romance. 3. They are not each other’s first love.)
