The protagonist is a genius spy suffering from hyperamnesia. He has no combat skills, and his only golden finger is that he can passively read some of the deceased's most profound memory fragments when he comes into contact with the deceased's personal belongings (such as diaries, pocket watches, and uniforms). By constantly collecting the relics of Japanese officers who died in battle, he perfectly impersonated their identities and penetrated the decision-making level step by step. But this "stealing" comes at a price - he will be disturbed by the obsessions and memory fragments of these dead people, and gradually lose himself.
