Sorrowful Wild Geese: Pian and You Meet Again

She had been a rootless drifting duckweed, tossed about in the brothels of a chaotic age, until that person came into her barren years carrying a lit lantern and a single piece of silver.

So all the suffering and waiting through half a lifetime of hardship had been for the sake of meeting this light that would illuminate the rest of her life. Though her body was covered in scars, she still chose to move forward without hesitation.

Love is not a perfect ending that appears from nowhere. It is two people saving each other amid years of devastation.

The road through this mortal world is long, and I hope to spend each day by your side. For all the years to come, if you never betray me, I will never betray you.

This is a fan work based on Mourning Geese: Ten Days After the City Fell. The protagonists are Fang Zhi You, whose mind has been awakened, and Lin Pianpian, who has fallen into the brothels.
