Investigator, All My Viewers Are Outer Gods

[Cthulhu] [Slow-Burn Pacing] [Investigators] [Tabletop RPG Style] [Multiple Female Leads]

At least other people who transmigrate get a System panel or something. The moment Yu Miao opens his eyes in this godforsaken place, he has to run for his life, with the sound of some unknown thing chasing him from behind.

After finally finding a lamp and getting a chance to catch his breath, he discovers that the lamp's owner is just a half-body propped against a broken wall, dead for who knows how long.

Following the direction the lamp points, he finds an estate. The lady of the house, Xuewei'er, is gentle, elegant, and hospitable. She says an investigator will arrive in a few days, so he can stay there for now and spend time with a strange fellow.

Two maids are so sick they can't get out of bed, their skin covered in grayish-white spots. The lady says it's a problem with the water supply, but the water served to guests is brought in from elsewhere. She's especially devoted to her father, taking meals upstairs to him several times a day. Yet whenever she says the word "father," her expression slips out of control, as if two people are fighting inside her.

A world fusing different eras, the Awakeners, the Investigator Academy, the Twelve Sequences, the two sides of the stage, and monsters.
