A Random Persona Every Day: I Ruin the Plot

Every day at midnight, Jiang Xing randomly gets assigned a new role.

On the first day, she becomes the “villainous fake heiress.”

The script says she must push Bai Zhi, the real heiress who has just returned home, down the stairs at the Bai family's birthday banquet, then be condemned by the entire internet, cast out of the family, and take her own life three days later.

After reading the script, Jiang Xing calls the police instead.

The System tells her to apologize, so she shoves the police report in front of the livestream camera. The plot says she must push the girl, so she exposes the blind spot in the surveillance cameras in front of everyone. Everyone accuses her of manipulating the real heiress, but the real heiress raises her palm, where the words “Save me” are written in blood.

Only later does Jiang Xing learn that the roles she draws each day aren't identities, but deadly traps that other people failed to escape.

Villainous supporting characters, lovers who are stand-ins, saintly women in the apocalypse, good-for-nothing junior sisters, wicked contestants on dating shows...

Everyone is forced to live according to the plot.

But Jiang Xing is determined to make every single role fall apart.
