The Purple Moon Era

To the Reader

This is not a book where the protagonist becomes a god in three chapters.

It moves slowly. So slowly that the protagonist must open her eyes inside an ancient coffin, walk barefoot over leaves fallen two thousand years ago, and come to know this world one step at a time. Slowly enough that you will walk beside her through the smoke of wars in the Spring and Autumn period, along the stone roads of ancient Rome, through the sunken corridors of Atlantis, and into untouched valleys beneath the Antarctic ice sheet.

Its timespan is vast. So vast that the life of one mortal is no more than a single page. From a young girl's first breath in the Qin dynasty to the stars glittering at the edge of the solar system, you will see how civilizations sprout from ruins, repeat their mistakes in oblivion, and grope their way toward a glimmer of light in the dark.

Its geography stretches far, too. So far that the sea of bamboo on an eastern mountaintop and the secret pact of a western Freemason lodge lie an entire Old World apart, separated by blood and fire; so far that the ruins deep in the Atlantic and the totems of the American wilderness lie across countless secrets swallowed by the sea. There are also underground rivers writhing in the depths, eyes opening at the bottom of the abyss, and an ancient device still running beneath Antarctica's ice... The world is vast and the story is long, but someone has been to every place, and then left.

So please, take your time.

Don't expect the protagonist to become invincible in three days or sweep all before her in five chapters. There is no System to hand you cultivation techniques, no old master to give you cheat powers. There is only one person, alone through the long ages, facing dangers that have been forgotten and buried, but never truly died.

If you are willing to walk this road with her to the end

It will leave something a little different in your heart.
