Yun Qingci woke up one day inside a melodramatic cultivation harem novel, as the cold, aloof senior sister who shared her name.
In the original story, she met a tragic end, personally slain by Shen Qingbai, the reborn harem protagonist. The junior sister she liked best in the novel, Su Yaoyao, was manipulated at every turn by a scumbag who used the debt of saving her life to deceive her, ultimately costing her life.
After getting a second chance, Yun Qingci set herself a goal:
Protect her lovable, lonely junior sister, train hard in lethal techniques, and ascend to the throne as an empress.
Gather handsome, high-quality men of upstanding character from across the land, and let Su Yaoyao choose the partner who suited her best.
As she watched the carefully selected lineup of handsome men queue up for her junior sister to choose from, Yun Qingci sat back and waited for her to find a good match.
But things gradually went off course.
Her junior sister ignored every man. Then one day, she suddenly blushed, flung herself at Yun Qingci, and kissed her by force.
Yun Qingci was stunned. Huh? Weren't you supposed to choose a partner? How did my junior sister end up falling for me?
