My Date with a Vampire: God's-Eye View

Zombies are born from the resentment and filth of heaven and earth. They do not age, die, or perish. Cast out by Heaven, Earth, and humanity from the six paths of reincarnation, they wander without shelter, homeless and adrift. They draw strength from resentment and feed on blood, using the blood of the living to vent their endless loneliness.

In the north stands the Ma family, a clan of exorcist dragon slayers; in the south is Mao Xiaofang, a Taoist master of his generation. With his profound mastery of Taoist arts, Mao Xiaofang ventures alone between the worlds of yin and yang, making the safety of all living beings his responsibility. He is also the bane of zombies. Alas, human strength has its limits. Master Mao, too, cannot escape the trials of reincarnation. His magic returns to the mountains, leaving behind a hero's name that will be celebrated for generations.

The world teeters on the brink of war, with conflict between China and Japan about to erupt. The storm gathering over Hongxi Village awakens a mysterious and unfathomable king of the zombies, Jiang Chen, who has slumbered for a hundred years.
