[Gourmet] [Comedy] [No pressure, no rat race] [Full-time, daily updates] [No romance] [Taking readers’ advice]
Lin Bei transmigrated.
He landed in another world that was a culinary desert. The people here roasted celery, deep-fried it, braised it, and served it cold, but never stir-fried it properly.
Tomatoes, water spinach, and cucumbers grew all over the roadsides. The locals called them “weeds.”
“Can you actually eat this stuff?” they asked.
Lin Bei quietly made a bowl of egg fried rice, and the onlookers burst into tears.
The System he was bound to was pretty diligent, assigning him tasks every day:
“Daily minimum: sell 100 portions. Not a single portion less.”
“Blind date task: stay for 45 minutes to unlock mapo tofu.”
“Get creative task: cook with the grossest ingredients to earn tomato seeds.”
Lin Bei’s principles were simple. Daily minimum? Sell out and close up; he wouldn’t sell one extra portion. Blind date task? If the reward was good enough, he’d go, reluctantly. Save the culinary desert? What’s that got to do with me? I’m just a street vendor.
But for some reason, his stall got more and more popular.
Some people knelt to fight over his wild-vegetable fried rice, some made an app to track his whereabouts, and others quit their jobs to follow him around the world.
“Is all this really necessary? They’re weeds, too! Are you all that desperate?”
Lin Bei was at a loss. But what troubled him even more was that the System was nagging him to go on another blind date.
This time, the reward was tomato-braised beef brisket.
...Fine. Send me the address.
A cheerful story about a laid-back protagonist forced to work in another world, going on blind dates when it suits him, picking wild vegetables by the roadside, and growing tomatoes on his balcony.
No startups, no restaurant, no rat race. Let anyone who wants to compete go ahead and compete.
This book is quite enjoyable. I think it's a new book at 90,000 words. If you update the author later, I'll catch up on it every now and then. If there are stable updates, I'll save up and read them again.
Take your time, there are still few words now, there will be opportunities later, don't give up 😄
Actually, it's not bad, but the content is missing... This can be used as a tonic
No one has seen it, I feel pretty good. Now that I have seen it, I will help the author.
Harmful, as you can see from the author's latest update, I guess another frustrated person has appeared.
Suitable for casual reading
