Siheyuan: The Homelander Gets Beaten Up from the Start

I’m Homelander, the world’s strongest superhero.

I transmigrate to 1958, and from the start, my eight-year-old body gets me into serious trouble.

Superpowers? Still asleep.

Superintelligence? I only use it to figure out how to protect my face when I’m getting beaten.

My mom’s slippers come smacking down,

my dad’s belt comes whipping around,

and Silly Zhu sits nearby with sunflower seeds and a stool, watching

“Gou Sheng’s getting beaten again! How many times today?”

I came here for revenge! Not to get beaten up!

Then one day, my superpowers finally return.

I look at myself in the mirror and give a sinister smile:

“America, times have changed.”
