[Hardcore science fiction, non-zombie apocalypse, three-body novel]
Wang Lin, a Ph. D. In physics, fell into the same strange dream for two consecutive nights.
In the dream, Galileo dropped two iron balls from the Leaning Tower of Pisa - but they did not hit the ground at the same time!
The physical rules of the entire world collapsed: objects fell irregularly, sometimes hard and fast, sometimes light and sometimes all at the same time. People were horrified to discover that there seemed to be no unified laws in nature at all.
Wang Lin tried to use science to fight absurdity, but found that he was getting closer to the core of the dream - a secret about the truth of the world that even Galileo could not touch.
And when he woke up, reality began to feel wrong.
A boy told him: "Teacher, the iron ball you threw hit the ground lightly first."
In the laboratory, the superconducting material he was responsible for had a Nobel Prize-level data breakthrough out of thin air, and then disappeared without a trace in the blink of an eye.
Dreams are seeping into reality.
