Beautiful, gloomy, world-weary heroine ✖️ Gentlemanly on the surface, obsessive underneath
The night Shen Xi was driven out of the Shen family, Ji Lingzhou took her back to his villa. He said he was only repaying a debt, yet he cooked noodles for her with his own hands, prepared slippers, and even named his ragdoll cat after her. Then one night, he cornered her in the kitchen, bracing his arms on either side of her. His voice low and husky, he said, “Sis, during all those years you took care of me, I spent every night dreaming of how I could repay you.” One thing led to another, and soon he was repaying her in bed.
